API 537 Quality Mechanical Inspector- Tulsa, OK (1099 Contractor)

Part Time • QE (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
Responsibilities:- The inspector must be able to:
  • Witness pilot testing sequences in accordance with API 537
  • Verify:
            -Ignition reliability
            -Flame stability
            -Pilot and burner performance
  • Review and validate:
        *Technical documentation
        *Material certificates
        *Test procedures and test reports
        *Prepare a clear and complete inspection report
        *Issue final endorsement of test results.
Technical Qualifications:
  • Mandatory Technical Experience
       * API 537 – Direct hands-on experience witnessing or verifying:
       * Flare pilot testing
        *Burner and pilot performance
        *Experience with:
            -Pilot ignition systems
           - Flame stability verification
            -Combustion performance assessment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 1–2 years of field experience in:
       - Flare systems
        -Combustion and burner equipment
        -Proven experience working as Third-Party Inspector (TPI)
Preferred Certifications:
  •   API-related certifications (API 510 / 570 / 653 – preferred but not mandatory)
  • TPI or equivalent inspection certification
  • Safety training for field / combustion environments.

CURRENT PROJECT: 1-2 days

Shift Hours: CURRENT PROJECT: 1st Shift.       
>Note: As a 1099 contractor, project schedules may vary depending on site availability

Location: Must be able to travel to Tulsa, OK and nearby areas
(exact CLIENT address can ONLY be shared once contractor is confirmed)
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
