Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) @ Anaheim CA (1099 Contractor)
Part Time • QE (Anaheim, CA)
Responsibilities:
- Inspector will be responsible for providing QC inspection support for a project at Acra Aerospace.
- Conducting 100% inspection using CMM, Vision Systems, Optical Comparators, and manual measurement tools, programming
- CMMs and Keyence Vision Systems as needed, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and NADCAP requirements, and documenting inspection findings accurately.
- The inspector will work closely with the quality control team to maintain product quality and integrity throughout the project duration.
- Provides timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence of product, packaging, labeling, defects noted, etc.
- Daily and weekly reports will be submitted using Microsoft Word or Excel.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Proficiency in conducting QC inspections using CMM, Vision Systems, and Optical Comparators.
- Experience in programming CMMs and Keyence Vision Systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and ISO 10012 standards.
- Knowledge of NADCAP requirements for aerospace inspection processes.
- Experience in calibration and validation of measurement equipment.
- Comply with all professional ProQC and manufacturing site guidelines and safety requirements.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Job type: 1099 CONTRACT (part time)
Working setting: in person location Anaheim, CA
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday || 6-8 hours/ day || Current Project: 3 to 6 months || Contractor will do another Project in Anaheim CA (or nearby areas) if and when offered.
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
